Doctor in Law and Social Sciences degree from the University of the Republic of Uruguay (1998) and a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, U.S.A. (2001), and is authorized to practice law in Uruguay and in the State of New York (having passed the NY Bar Exam in 2002). She acted as Professor of the course Legal Framework of the International Transactions at the ORT University of Uruguay, School of Business Administration and Social Sciences and has attended numerous conferences and seminars in the areas of corporate, commercial, capital markets, international arbitration, hedge fund, data privacy, AML, and international taxation law.
